Q: Where did you grow up, and how did your environment shape the person and artist you've become? DEMXN BABYY: I was born in Alexandria, Alabama. When I was a toddler I lived in Missouri, and later I grew up in South Dakota. Moving around exposed me to different kinds of music and taught me not to get too comfortable because life is always changing. Q: What are some of your earliest memories with music? DEMXN BABYY: One of my earliest memories was when I was around six years old. I remember sitting in the car and hearing Chief Keef's "Don't Like." I instantly fell in love with the melody, and that's something that's stayed with me ever since. Q: Before music, what did you think your future looked like? DEMXN BABYY: Basketball was my first dream. I wanted to make it to the NBA, so that was originally the path I thought I was going to take. Q: When did you decide to take music seriously? DEMXN BABYY: I used to be in a rap group called Day Dreamers where we made aesthetic rap. I got bullied my entire ninth-grade year because of it. Instead of quitting, I decided I wanted to take music even more seriously and prove people wrong. Q: How would you describe your sound? DEMXN BABYY: It depends on the song. Sometimes it's lightly aggressive, and other times it's really emotional and deep. Q: What themes do you naturally gravitate toward when making music? DEMXN BABYY: I usually lean toward topics like obsession or heartbreak. Those emotions come naturally when I'm creating. Q: Has there been a life lesson that changed your perspective? DEMXN BABYY: Seeing friends start blowing up and then switching up on me taught me that not everyone is really your friend in the music industry. Q: What's been the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome? DEMXN BABYY: Definitely the bullying. People made hate accounts just to make fun of my old music. It wasn't easy, but I kept going. Q: Have you ever thought about quitting? DEMXN BABYY: A few times. But then I'll hear artists like Aiden Hilton, and it reminds me why I started. Q: Who believed in you before anyone else? DEMXN BABYY: Honestly, nobody really believed in me besides myself. I had to figure everything out on my own. Q: How do you deal with self-doubt or creative blocks? DEMXN BABYY: I get frustrated at first, but I put it aside and come back later. Sometimes I only create my best music late at night between 1 AM and 5 AM. Q: What's something you've sacrificed to chase your dream? DEMXN BABYY: Time. I didn't do much schoolwork because I was so focused on music. I was a D student through ninth and tenth grade, but music was always where my heart was. Q: What's more important: talent, consistency, or relationships? DEMXN BABYY: It depends on the situation. Sometimes one connection can change your life, and sometimes pure talent gets you noticed. Everything happens at the right time for a reason. Q: If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? DEMXN BABYY: Stop worrying about what people think and start making music even earlier. Q: What do you hope listeners feel when they hear your music? DEMXN BABYY: I want people to feel the pain in my lyrics, or if it's a hype song, I want them to get excited and enjoy the energy. Q: Where do you see yourself five years from now? DEMXN BABYY: I don't just want to be known as a rapper or singer. I want to be remembered as an emo rap legend. Q: Is there someone who deserves recognition for believing in you? DEMXN BABYY: My biggest supporter during tenth grade was my science teacher, Mr. Heitzman. He was the first person who really saw my potential. Q: What's your message to anyone chasing their dreams or going through a difficult time? DEMXN BABYY: Just know there's always somebody out there who loves you. And when it comes to your dreams, keep going. Speak them into reality. At only 16, DEMXN BABYY has already experienced setbacks, criticism, and moments that would have convinced many people to walk away. Instead, he's chosen to use those experiences as motivation to improve his craft and continue growing as an artist. The album opens with "Cookiez" featuring Brandon Jae, immediately grabbing attention with a dramatic violin driven trap beat before dropping into a hard hitting first verse. The repeated line, "Selling whole cookies, saving the clowns," gives the track an instantly recognizable hook before Gambull follows it with "Made a masterpiece, fighting for some pieces," reflecting both the hustle and sacrifice behind the grind. Brandon Jae steps in with a confident feature, delivering lines like "I did this st, it was not easy" and "I get the guap, cheese," matching Gambull's energy perfectly. The chemistry between the two carries the song, but what stood out most was how Gambull closes it.
